METALLICA's classic 1986 album "Master Of Puppets" was voted the best heavy metal album of all time in a new poll at MusicRadar.com. "Master Of Puppets" earned 20 percent of the more that 6,000 votes registered at the site, with three other METALLICA albums also appearing in the Top 25. IRON MAIDEN's 1982 effort "The Number Of The Beast" placed second, while GUNS N' ROSES' 1987 debut, "Appetite For Destruction", came in third. Other spots in the Top 10 were taken by BLACK SABBATH and AC/DC. According to Prime Time Russia, METALLICA frontman James Hetfield was ripped off in a Moscow restaurant late last month. Hetfield claimed that he and the rest of the band had a meal worth around 8,000 rubles, or $270, but when he looked at his credit card receipt later, he had been charged 19,000 rubles, or approximately $650 — more than twice the actual bill. When Hetfield returned to the restaurant to complain, they showed him a receipt with his signature on it — which he thought was forged. |
